Knight Capital Group Completes Acquisition of ValuBond, Inc. Fixed Income Electronic Platform

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Knight Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NITE) today announced the completion of its acquisition of ValuBond, Inc., a privately held firm, in an all-cash deal for $18.2 million, effective as of the opening of business today, October 2, 2006. ValuBond provides electronic access and trade execution products for the fixed income market and is a separate subsidiary of Knight Capital Group.
