Orientation & Training
All new hires go through an extensive orientation process. This includes sessions introducing you to Knight as a whole, as well as more in-depth
sessions on the Electronic Trading Group (ETG). At Knight, we go to great lengths to help our people grow in their professions. Therefore, the
training and support that we offer does not stop with new hire orientation.
We are committed to helping our employees develop their potential, both professionally and personally. Knight's training program for ETG members
offers a range of classes, from a macro view of the finance industry to specific technology and strategy courses. Often outside experts from
academia come in to speak to our group, and we have a regularly scheduled "Journal Review," to discuss and analyze the latest academic research
in quantitative finance.
Knight is small enough that every individual can make a substantial contribution to our business, yet we are large enough to offer the scale and
resources to achieve the goals of the team. Our mentoring program allows our junior members the opportunity to work with and learn from our senior
level associates and executives.
